Loxham Precision has launched a new product the µ3 - ECM system. This new machine tool is a 3 axis CNC electrochemical machining system. It is capable of producing fine intricate features into a range of difficult to machine materials. This new machine has been realized with support of Innovate UK and through a collaboration project with Ultra Precision Motions Limited.

Keith Carlisle, Loxham Precision Chief Engineer said "this micro ECM technology enables Loxham to be both an effective supplier of machine tools and machining services for complex fine featured components in difficult materials. Rapid and reproducible fabrication of complex shapes is achieved using the ECM process together with high accuracy diamond machined electrodes produced using Loxham's ultra precision diamond machining technologies."
